General Manager (GM)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager (GM) to oversee and guide the operational strategy of our organization. The GM will play a key leadership role in driving business growth, managing departmental operations, and leading teams to achieve company goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities, as well as a proven track record of leadership and decision-making.

As the GM, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans, ensuring the seamless execution of projects, and maintaining alignment with organizational goals. You will work closely with senior management, reporting on project progress, and ensuring the effective coordination of all teams to meet targets and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Departmental Operations & Strategy: Oversee the operations of all departments, ensuring that all functions align with the company’s business strategy and goals.
  • Business Planning & Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive business plans that drive growth, optimize operational efficiency, and increase profitability.
  • Leadership & Team Motivation: Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams to ensure they are aligned and working effectively to achieve both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Decision-Making & Problem Solving: Make critical decisions and address complex business challenges, ensuring timely and effective solutions are implemented.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee all company projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet organizational standards.
  • Reporting to Senior Management: Regularly report on the progress of projects and departmental performance, providing senior management with actionable insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role, with a proven track record of leading teams and overseeing operations. Experience in project management and business planning is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proven ability to manage complex projects and make key business decisions.
    • Strong understanding of business operations and financial management.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
